Steve Rothery “The Ghost of Pripyat” Release date 02/02/15 on Inside Out Music.

I have not had the privilege of ever hearing Steve Rothery perform on stage, on the Radio, or any other format for that matter; damn I have been missing out! When Inside Out Music sent me the album to review, they didn’t tell me what an amazing legendary guitar player and composer he is. Steve’s melodic and atmospheric style has been an integral part of Marillion’s seventeen albums. Although this is his solo album, the lineup of musicians on this album couldn’t have been better picked to help bring Steve’s full vision together; this album is perfect! I really don’t know what more I can tell you, it is mesmerizing, hauntingly beautiful, and atmospheric, I mean all the way out in space, and I couldn’t be more honored to help to promote one of the most beautiful guitar driven albums I have ever heard. Forget about the new Pink Floyd album, pick up a copy of “The Ghost of Pripyat”, take it home, put on your headphones and get ready for a truly amazing musical experience! You can pick up his album through iTunes or just click on his website - and pick up a copy, you will love it!
